Something for every celebration
Every event is different, so we've created a few different ways to bring Sundae Cycle to yours. From a setup that becomes part of the occasion to something that simply slots into your plans, there’s an option to suit all kinds of celebrations.
The Bikes
Where it all started. Our original ice cream bike has picked up a couple of friends over the years, giving us a little fleet of three, each with its own look, character and plenty of Sundae Cycle charm.
Compact, versatile and right at home in the middle of the action, our bikes have a way of becoming part of the occasion, surrounded by guests, conversations and plenty of people coming back for another scoop.
With different styles and capacities available, we'll help choose the right one for your event, fill it with your chosen flavours and take care of the scooping from there.
Hetty The Van
Meet Hetty, our beautifully restored vintage Citroën HY van. Full of character and with plenty of personality, she creates a real focal point at any event, with our Ice Cream served straight from the van.
And if Ice Cream alone isn't quite enough, Hetty gives you the option to add sundaes and milkshakes into the mix too. She's a bigger setup, so loves a little room and works especially well where there's plenty of space for her to make an entrance.
The Bar
Same Sundae Cycle feel, just without the wheels. Our rustic wooden Ice Cream bar offers another way to bring our Ice Cream to your event, with the same relaxed setup and friendly service as our bikes.
With plenty of character of its own, it sits beautifully amongst the celebrations and gives guests a natural place to gather, choose their flavours and, inevitably, come back for another scoop.
Self Service Station
Ice cream whenever the mood strikes. Our self-service station is a relaxed, fuss-free option, with individual tubs ready to grab whenever your guests fancy something sweet.
We’ll deliver and set everything up ready to go, stocked with your chosen flavours and everything your guests need to simply grab, enjoy and head back to the celebrations. No waiting to be served – just ice cream ready and waiting when they want it.

The number of flavours depends on the setup you choose. Our bike and bar usually offer a choice of five flavours, while Hetty offers six. Our Self-Service Station starts from three flavours, depending on your guest numbers and package. We’ll chat through the options with you and help you put together the right selection for your event.

We offer a range of flavours to suit different dietary requirements, including dairy-free and vegan options. Full allergen information is available for all of our flavours, and we're always happy to talk through any specific requirements with you ahead of your event.
While we take allergens seriously and have procedures in place to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we do handle a range of allergens within our kitchen and at events, so please let us know about any allergies when enquiring.

This depends on the setup you choose, but we’ll always confirm the space and access requirements with you ahead of your event. Our bikes and bar are relatively compact and can work in a variety of spaces, while Hetty needs a little more room to make herself at home.
Step-free access is required for our setups, so if you’re unsure about access or whether your venue will work, just ask – we’re always happy to take a look and advise.

Power requirements can vary depending on your chosen setup, the length of your event and even the weather conditions on the day. Some of our setups can usually operate without a power supply, while others will need access to one. We’ll confirm exactly what’s required ahead of your event, so everything is taken care of before the day.

We’re based in Essex, but we’re always happy to travel! Most of our events take us across Essex, Suffolk and the surrounding areas, but there’s no set limit on how far we’ll go. Travel costs are calculated based on your location and will always be clearly included within your quote.
Hetty travels a little closer to home, so if you have your heart set on bringing her along, just get in touch and we can check your location. -
Unfortunately, the weather is one thing we can’t control! We’ll always do our best to work with the conditions on the day and can chat through suitable positioning, cover or indoor options where access allows. For outdoor events, we always recommend having a wet-weather plan in place, as bookings will still go ahead if the weather isn’t quite on our side.
